Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.

Aloe is a succulent plant, with evergreen leaves, with shallow roots, growing in clumps and even in colonies whose origin is uncertain.

It has been cultivated for a long time in the Mediterranean region, North Africa, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde.

Used since Antiquity, aloe vera was first adopted in traditional medicines in many hot regions of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, then in India, China and Asia after the 11th century and finally America after the 17th century.

Long used in care, traditionally the leaf was peeled and the pulp was applied directly to the skin.

The leaf contains over 75 active compounds as well as 20 minerals, 20 amino acids and 12 vitamins.
