Words by Mikaël

Rose water is used in culinary preparations and cosmetics.

It exquisitely flavors fruit salads and oriental pastries.

On the face it provides a refreshing sensation of the most pleasant when sprayed with an atomizer.

Love

The power of the Rose dissolves blockages, rebalances emotions and thoughts.

The heart chakra opens, physical and psychological wounds heal.

Accompanies the important passages of existence.

Chewing and regenerating.

Even if the rose is ephemeral, the products based on this magnificent flower are there to allow us to enjoy it for a long time.

The rose has been recognized since ancient times for its medicinal virtues.

The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the petals collected in the early morning before the dew evaporates.

This produces rose essential oil and rose water.

A drop of essential oil from this "queen of flowers" represents a bouquet of 150 roses.

More than 3000 roses must be distilled to obtain 1 ml of esential rose oil and 3 l of floral water.

Words by Anny Schneider

This hydrosol is pleasantly aromatic, typical of the subtle aroma of this original rose strain.

Used as a tonic on cleansed skin, this rose hydrosol tightens pores, balances sebum and strengthens the capillaries.

For a subtle floral touch, you can even add it to oriental desserts.

It can be used to deodorize a bathroom with or without the addition of a few drops of an essential oil of geranium, rosewood or even rose from which the hydrosol is derived.

Origin

This organic hydrosol of Rose centifolia from Egypt is distilled from the flowers of the plant.

Cautions

Keep away from children, air, heat and light.

More information

For many cultures from the Middle East and Europe, the rose is a symbol of love, both sacred and human.

The name of the Centifolia "hundred-leaves" refers to the large number of petals of the flower.

Its precise history is not known to us, some say it is a hybrid developed by seventeenth century Dutch breeders and then further hybridized by nineteenth century French merchants.

This subtly perfumed rose with its full pink, densely petaled and globe-like blooms is widely cultivated in France specifically Grasse, the capital of perfumery, and North Africa especially in Morocco.

This luxurious hydrosol can be used as a simple facial tonic, as well as in the creation of skin care products.

It can be added to sweet or savory culinary preparations and even beverages, such as adding one teaspoon to a glass of homemade almond milk.
