Cautions and warnings:
Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.

This organic Adansonia (a kind of baobab) vegetable oil from South Africa is 100% natural and first cold pressed.

Properties

The African Adansonia or Baobab is the best known of the eight baobab species. This typical West African tree has a slow growth, one can find trees older than 2,000 years.

Its name comes from the Arabic bu hibab, which means «fruit with many seeds».

Each of its oval fruits, which weigh an average of 250g, often contains several hundred seeds.

From these seeds comes the oil we use in skin products.

In Africa the oil, leaves, fruits, roots of young trees and even the bark are known for their nutritional as well as medicinal virtues.

Softening and restructuring, Adansonia oil is an ideal ingredient for the care of tight and dry skin as well as for hair treatments and for hair in great need of hydration.
