Words by Anny Schneider

This organic essential oil of pistachio lentisque (also named: "Putty tree") from Morocco, is distilled from the leaves of this Mediterranean shrub.

Vascular and venous decongestant, in local application diluted in a vegetable oil, it treats haemorrhoids and varicose veins.

Always diluted in an appropriate oil, it also relieves leg swelling as well as swelling and inflammation of the prostate.

The beautiful women in the harems of the Levant of old time used it as a deodorant and chewed the gum to keep a good breath.

In inhalation or diffusion, and combined with other bronchodilators, it cleans the air and acts as expectorant and decongesting sinuses.

The Mediterranean goat farmers know that their animals love Lentisque Pistachio and that the plant perfumes deliciously milk and cheese.
