Raziel (in Hebrew רזיאל; Rāzīʾēl) is in Judaism an angel of Kabbalah whose name means "secret (רז) of God (אל)", and whose function is precisely to reveal the secrets of God.
He is often compared to the angel Gallitsur, revealer of the secrets of God in the Sefer ha-Yashar (Aggada).
"Keeper of secrets" and "angel of mysteries and laughter", he is associated with the sephirah Chokmah (the second of ten) in Beri'ah, one of the four worlds of Kabbalah.
