Cautions and warnings:
Do not use pure essential oils. Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable oil when applied to the skin. Carry out a skin tolerance test in the crook of your elbow and wait 48 hours before using the oil on the skin. Do not use the essential oil if you notice a reaction such as redness, itching or stinging.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the eye contour area, neither into the ears. In case of contact, apply a plenty of vegetable oil and take promptly medical advice.

This Nigella vegetable oil (also called black cumin) is extracted from the seeds of this pretty stylized flower.

In the North African countries where it has been used since Antiquity. it is also called the blessed seed and is even consumed internally.

With a high content of mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids: oleic, linoleic and palmitic, it easily penetrates to the dermis.

Thanks to its antihistamine properties, it treats all types of allergies, including topical ones.

It is effective for dry and very sensitive skin and also treats acne, eczema and hives.

Not very comedogenic and rather sensitive to oxidation.

⇒ Because of its dark coloring and its rarity, it is preferable to use it diluted in other vegetable oils.

• Alpha-Pinène and Beta-Pinène (15 %), Limonene (4 %), Beta-Elemène, Beta-Sélinène, Alpha-Thuyene
• Sesquiterpenes: Longifolène
• Trans-Anethole, 4-Terpinéol

• The HE of Nigella Damascena mainly contains sesquiterpenes, including around 70 % of beta-elemene.
