Words by Mikaël

The essential oil of Ravintsara comes from a tree with a thousand virtues, the "Cinnamomum camphora", which can reach about thirty meters, has leaves covered with a film of wax and whose flowers have white petals.

The aromatic bouquet smells of eucalyptus.

Its distillate contains half of eucalyptol, the rest is composed among other things of terpene oxide, terpene alcohol, sesquiterpene and ketone.

This essential oil fights pain, destroys pathogenic microbes, relieves muscle contractions and joint pain (for both athletes and elderly people!), clears respiratory voices.

Also, it stimulates energy, vigor and defense mechanisms against infections.

It is used to treat influenza, allergies, dry cough and fatty cough, having an ability to act against respiratory infections, sinusitis and bronchial injuries.

It is generally used in external application, dilute with vegetable oil, for massage.

It would also have toning properties of muscles and stimulating properties of the body’s immune defences against infections.

It would also be good against cellulite and water retention in the body! According to tradition, it also has anxiolytic and analgesic virtues, as well as tranquilizer and hypnotic properties.

Its simplest use is to inhale the smell of Ravintsara oil on a handkerchief on which two drops of vegetable oil are poured for dry coughs. Fumigating for greasy coughs. To find a quick sleep, smell the oil applied in one or two drops on the inner side of the wrists. With massage oil it is not possible to treat cellulite, muscle cramps. Diluted 5 to 10% in vegetable oil, it also treats fatigue strokes.

To clear the airway in case of flu, allergy or cold, breathe the oil through the neck of the open bottle or by micro-diffuser.

This oil is strictly forbidden to pregnant women, breastfeeding, epileptics and allergic

Words by Anny Schneider

With its balsamic and camphorous smell, this Asian tree with distilled leaves, the ravintsare (or Camphor tree) is recognized as an antiviral and an exceptional immune stimulant.

Diluted in a vegetable oil of first cold pressure, it can be massaged all over the body to counter the flu, mononucleosis, or even herpes and shingles.

Great tonic and powerful energy, it is a great help in case of persistent fatigue, whether physical or nervous.
