Words by Anny Schneider

The perennial savory is a very aromatic Mediterranean plant known for its digestive and carminative properties.

Its essential oil has the same virtues, in addition to being bactericidal and tonic.

It is used in very low doses diluted in 95% oil or vegetable fat, both in cooking, where it is added at the end of cooking, and in cosmetic use.

Origin of this essential oil

This organic essential oil of mountain savory from Spain is distilled from the flowering tops of the plant.

Suggestions for use

Savory essential oil can also be used to prepare plant protection treatment products in combination with white clay against pear rust.

Keep away from children, air, heat and light.

  • Skin irritation (dermocaustic) possible from pure HE
  • Possible neurotoxicity due to the inconstant presence of methyl eugenol
